THERAPY AND MEDICAL EQUIPMENT

Having access to the right therapy and medical equipment can make a world of difference in the lives of our children with Down syndrome. But it can be overwhelming when medical bills or just other life circumstances stand in the way of gaining access. So, at Team Iron Will, we stand in the gap and help families who might not otherwise be able to afford therapy tools/toys and medical or adaptive equipment.

ONLINE LEARNING and THERAPY

Team Iron Will has a partnership with Happy Kids Therapy - an online feeding and speech therapy service. These programs are structured in a way that empowers parents to help their children learn and grow at their own pace. We have personally benefitted from the Happy Kids Therapy service, and we are excited to help other families gain access to these invaluable resources.

Team Iron Will offers partial scholarships to attend Happy Kids Therapy online classes and webinars.

Feeding therapy courses are ongoing and scholarships to attend can be applied for at any time.

Speech therapy courses are offered in March and October of each year. The scholarship application process for the next session (October of 2025) will open in August of 2025.

Request an INFANTILE SPASMS (IS) CARE PACKAGE

We hold a special place in our hearts for families in the Down syndrome community who have an Infantile Spasms (IS) diagnosis. Will was diagnosed at 8 months after being misdiagnosed for 2 months. It was a scary time for us and knowing we weren't alone helped us through that time.

So now we provide care packages and an online support chat for families in our community.

If your child is experiencing IS or you know someone else with a child going through it, please fill out the form below.

*Please note that this outreach is specific to families inside of the Down syndrome community.
